UHZ66: How to Enable or Disable HDR

How to Enable HDR:

The HDR Picture Mode requires an HDR-compatible source to be connected to the projector and playing HDR-enabled content for the HDR settings to be enabled and function. HDR is detected automatically if the two statements above are true.

When the UHZ66 is in the HDR Picture Mode, you will see the other listed Picture Mode options grayed out or unselectable. If you wish to turn off HDR, see the instructions below:

How to Disable HDR

To disable HDR, you generally just accomplish this from your Source by disabling HDR playback or by selecting non-HDR media/content.

If you want to force HDR off from the projector, see below.

  1. Open the Main Menu and go under the Image Settings:
  2. Go into Dynamic Range, as shown above
  3. Select the "Off" option

After turning off HDR, you can return to Picture Mode and choose an option. The HDR and HLG options will be greyed out as they require HDR or HLG-enabled sources and media.

Should you continue to experience issues after following these steps, contact technical support by visiting our submit a request page. Kindly provide details regarding your projector model, the devices connected, and the specific issue you are encountering.
