Creating an RS232 Command Set
- Go to the system settings.
- Select the "RS232 Command Set" tab.
- Click "+Add new command set" .
- Enter the command set name in the designated field.
- Click “Download the template”, then fill in the required RS232 commands according to the provided format.
- Once completed, click "Import" to upload the file into OMS, then "Save" it to apply the command set.
- You can view the command list and click "Details" to Edit or Export the command set.
RS232 Command Table Entry Guidelines
To ensure proper configuration of device control commands, please follow the instructions below when filling out the RS232 command table:
1. Preset Fields (Do Not Modify)
- The range from A3 to C57 (columns Type, Category, and Parameter) contains system-defined default values and must not be changed.
- These fields define the structure and classification of control commands. Modifying them may result in malfunction or communication errors
2. Command Input Area (User Editable)
- In columns D (CMD) and E (Response), enter the corresponding RS232 command and expected response for each preset item.
- Ensure all fields are filled in correctly and no fields are left blank, to avoid execution errors.
Custom Command Area (User Defined) - Starting from row 58, you can define your own custom commands.
Please follow the same format as the preset rows when entering values for Type, Category, Parameter, CMD, and Response.
How to Connect to a Display
Ensure that your display is properly connected to the OCH100-Hyve using the RS232 interface
Configure the display settings in OMS
Follow the steps below to activate the RS232 command function:
- Click on the Hyve-OCH100 device details, go to the RS232 Control tab.
- Choose a Brand Category to proceed.
- Enter the basic display information, select the command set you previously created, and configure the port settings.
- Sample test : Enter a command to test whether serial port communication is functioning properly.
- Click "Save" to complete the settings. The control panel will be displayed afterward.

Retrieve the current status of the connected display device. - Command Logs
View a history of executed commands and their responses. - Set Commands
Configure and send RS232 commands to control the display. - Free Input of Commands
Manually enter custom RS232 commands for advanced control. - Deactivate
Disconnect the display.
