ML750: Golf Sim Projected image is not filling a 4:3 aspect ratio projector screen.

Issue: LED projector image does not fill the projected screen area.

Cause: Mismatch between projector throw ratio, video source resolution, and desired aspect ratio (4:3).

Solutions:

  1. Check Throw Distance: Ensure the projector is positioned within the recommended throw distance for your screen size (consult user manual).

  2. Verify Input Source: Confirm the projector's input source matches the connection method (HDMI, VGA, etc.).

  3. Adjust Display Resolution:

    • Video Source: Refer to the video source's user manual to verify compatibility with a 4:3 aspect ratio resolution. Change the source resolution if compatible.
    • Projector Compatibility: If source adjustment isn't possible, consult Optoma's online resources for a list of compatible 4:3 resolutions for your projector model. Changing the projector's resolution (if supported) might solve the issue.

Expected Outcome: When these steps are followed, the projected image should adjust to a square format and fill the 4:3 aspect ratio screen.
